Known for producing innovative and quality drones, Walkera is also famous for its own FPV Goggles, besides its deviation transmitters Devo F7, Devo 12E are few in their line up.. Prior to Goggle 4 walkera also launched High Definition Goggle 3 last year, which still sells around $500+, as of today.
Year 2016 - the two new 5.8 GHZ FPV Racing Drones namely, the Walkera Rodeo F150 and F210 are instant hits when compared to its Racer 250 Series in 2015 and the newly launched Goggle 4 seems to be perfectly compatible with the new Rodeo and F210
For a Price tag of $170, Walkera Goggle 4 seems to have a good build quality and design. As the Goggle is a Head Wear, the soft cushions make it more comfortable to wear - an ergonomic design.
Walkera Goggle 4 comes with 40 Channels (Inclusive of Race Band). Importantly, the concept of 5.8GHZ dual antenna - which means a better video reception. From the pictures, its evident that the big short, square type antenna is placed in the middle, while the stick antenna on the left side, anticipating that the Goggle 4 would pick the best received reception at any give point during the flight.
The other notable features include, 5. Inch HD Large screen with 800 X 480 pixels screen resolution. Goggle 4 is also featuring a RCA Video input/output , making it a multi purpose FPV glasses to watch movies. and also compatible with all standard NTSC and PAL video signals and has the option to adjust image brightness , chroma and contrast .The 7.4 volts battery is located at the back of the head-strap and gives a operating time of 120 minutes.
