DJI announced Phantom4 Advanced, Phantom 4 Advanced is an upgraded version of the first  Phantom 4 and comes with an uprated camera with a 1-inch 20-megapixel sensor capable of shooting 4K/60fps video and Burst Mode stills at 14 fps.Reduction in Weight - The adoption of titanium alloy and magnesium alloy construction increases the rigidity of the air frame and reduces weight, making the Phantom 4 Advanced even lighter than the Phantom 4.

1. What are the main differences between the Phantom 4 and Phantom 4 Advanced?
The Phantom 4 Advanced's uprated camera shoots 4K/60 fps video at a bitrate of 100 Mbps and stills at up to 20 megapixels. It can be used with an optional integrated monitor for even more reliable transmission. Operators are empowered with a new suite of Intelligent Flight Modes.The maximum flight speed of the Phantom 4 Advanced is slightly higher than the Phantom 4 when flying in P-mode. The maximum flight time is extended to 30 minutes, the transmission range is extended to 7 km, and the obstacle sensing range is increased from 15 m to 30 m.

The Phantom 4 Advanced inherits most of the functions of the Phantom 4 Pro. However, in order to increase affordability, unlike the Phantom 4 Pro the Phantom 4 Advanced does not have rear vision sensors and two infrared sensors in its FlightAutonomy system. Also, its remote controller does not support the 5.8 GHz frequency band and Tapfly Backward has been removed.

  1. They basically aren't using the vision processor anymore that the original P4 has in it (Intel owns that company from what I understand), and they still have P4 shells around.. Let's put the flight controller and computer system we already have for the P4P, Mavic, and the Inspire 2 into those shells with an upgraded camera and call it the P4 Advanced.
